Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PawanSetu collects when you use our website, how we use it and the choices you have. PawanSetu is operated by PawanShakti Synthesis LLP. By using PawanSetu you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
• Delivery addresses you save to your account, and the address attached to each order.
• Orders: what you bought, from which shop, amounts, status history, and any reviews or support tickets you submit.
• Payment references: online payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive and store the Razorpay order and payment IDs and the payment status. We do not see or store your card number, UPI PIN or net-banking password.
• Seller information (sellers only): business and shop details, GSTIN, PAN, Aadhaar number, bank account or UPI details, and KYC documents you upload.

How we use it

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To send your order to the shop you ordered from, so the shop owner can prepare and deliver it. The shop sees your name, phone number and delivery address for that order.
• To process payments, cancellations and refunds, and to calculate seller payouts and commission.
• To send you order updates and account messages by email and, where enabled, WhatsApp or SMS, and in-app notifications.
• To verify sellers (KYC), prevent fraud and misuse, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

• The shop you order from, to fulfil and deliver your order.
• Razorpay, our payment gateway, to process payments and refunds.
• Google Maps: the map pin and any location text you search are sent to Google Maps to find your address.
• Messaging providers that deliver our emails and WhatsApp/SMS messages on our behalf.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Seller KYC documents

KYC documents uploaded by sellers are stored privately. They are never publicly accessible and can only be opened by the seller who uploaded them and by authorised PawanSetu administrators for verification.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie: a secure, httpOnly sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. It cannot be read by scripts on the page. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. When you pay online, Razorpay's checkout may set its own cookies under Razorpay's policy.

How long we keep data

We keep your account data while your account is active. Order, payment and invoice records, and seller KYC records, are kept for as long as tax, accounting and other legal obligations require, even if an account is closed.

Your choices and rights

• You can view and update your name, phone number and addresses from your account.
• You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by contacting support below. We will delete or anonymise what we are not legally required to keep.
• You can opt out of non-essential messages by contacting us. Order and security messages are part of the service.

Security

Passwords are hashed, the sign-in cookie is httpOnly, and access to seller and admin tools is restricted by role. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect misuse of your account, change your password and contact us straight away.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be announced on the site.
